Subj: CHANGE IN GOVERNING DOCUMENTS-30 DAY NOTICE
Members, The board and I have rewritten the governing documents of The Tuscaloosa Metropolitan YMCA. The current version we have been working from, was written in 1947. The change requires a posted notice of at least 30 days. It also requires that you know you have the option to read the old version, read the new version, and vote on the change, if you would like. You will see the old and new version attached here. If you would like a copy, you can print one from our website, www.ymcatuscaloosa.org. The vote to rescind the old and adopt the new bylaws will be at our board meeting on November 29th, at 12:00 PM. Old Bylaws New Proposed Bylaws Thank you for your continued support to the YMCA.
